Krakow played a crucial role as a train stop on the route connecting Warsaw to Auschwitz. This route impacted my travel plans, as I was unable to catch my train from Warsaw to Berlin, necessitating an overnight stay in Krakow. Delays in Warsaw caused me to miss my scheduled connection to Berlin, resulting in an additional night in Berlin. Despite the disruption to my itinerary, I appreciated the beauty of Krakow during my brief visit. The initial photos shown are of the Auschwitz train station, which is located in a small city and not solely within the confines of the concentration camp itself.
