Visiting Venice is a goal for many travelers. However, my personal experience did not meet my expectations. Being there solo might have influenced my perspective, since Venice is a more romantic setting. Nonetheless, it was fascinating to navigate a city devoid of vehicles; transportation relied solely on waterways and pedestrian pathways.
